Tejinder Sahota, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Sahota holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Information Management from University College London. After university, Mr. Sahota joined Accenture’s London office as a Strategy Consultant, where he worked on projects in a range of industries globally. In his time at the firm, he dealt with some of the world’s largest technology companies, advising them on, and determining their future in the healthcare market.

In one such project, Mr. Sahota’s work became the benchmark for the client company’s operations worldwide. Mr. Sahota also created and helped to run a joint venture for Accenture with a global technology giant. This joint venture operated with a unique business model in a range of industries, including healthcare.

Subsequent to his time at Accenture, Mr. Sahota managed the U.K. operations of a private equity venture with a significant portfolio in the U.K. and Asia, most notably in the healthcare space. Mr. Sahota’s experience in the technology and healthcare industries, along with his expertise with new ventures, in strategy and business development, and in managing large projects make him the ideal candidate to lead EasyMed to the next stage of its commercial development, as CEO.

Dr. Carmelo Bisognano, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Director

Dr. Bisognano serves as COO and sits on the board of directors.  He is responsible for the day-to-day running of the company, as well as managing interactions between all relevant departments on any given project.

Prior to founding EasyMed, Dr. Bisognano had a post-doctoral position at the University Hospital of Geneva where he conducted research on molecular regulation of bacterial resistance. He is also the author of publications in international scientific journals and has obtained several awards for his research work (GSK and MSD Awards, Swiss Society for Infectious-Diseases).

Dr. Bisognano was also a biotechnology consultant for Geneva’s government, research institutes and a Marketing Manager in a bioinformatics company. More recently, he co- directed a course on Biotech valuation for MoT MBA (federal polytechnic school) and collaborated with investment funds for their strategic portfolio allocation.

Thomas Wacinski, M.Sc., Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and Director

Mr. Wacinski serves as CTO and sits on the board of directors. His main responsibilities include the development of the overall technology and product vision for the company. As product and strategy architect, he oversees the R&D department and aligns cross-company initiatives and collaboration to foster innovation.

Prior to joining EasyMed Services Inc., Mr. Wacinski was the Chief Technology Officer at Lifescience-Consulting SA, a Geneva-based firm, where he oversaw the IT and scientific departments for the development of a new generation of business intelligence solutions for Pharma-Biotech and investment communities.

Mr. Wacinski holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Geneva, Switzerland.

Jared W. Scharf, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Director

Mr. Scharf serves as CFO and sits on the board of directors. His background is in corporate finance and financial accounting. Over the last seven years Mr. Scharf has held senior finance and accounting positions in the alternative energy, mining and technology sectors.

From 2005 to 2009 Mr. Scharf held the position of senior associate for ITM Corporation, a Toronto-based asset management firm, where he worked on the development of geothermal assets in Latin America. Mr. Scharf holds an Honours Commerce degree in Finance from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa as well as a Bachelors of Administration also from the University of Ottawa. Mr. Scharf is also the CFO of Desert Gold Ventures Inc., a Canadian mining company.

Prof. Frank Christ, Director

After studying Medicine in Germany and Australia, Prof. Christ started his postgraduate training in Anaesthesiology in London and completed the fellowship exams at Imperial College, London. Moving to Munich as a Consultant Anaesthesiologist, his particular interest was transplantation and Emergency Medicine. Currently Prof. Christ is heading the Cardiac Anaesthesiology department of the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.

He was instrumental in the foundation of the Harvard Munich Alliance for Medical Education and is the Secretary General of this alliance. Prof. Christ participated in management programs at Harvard Business School and the MIT Sloan School of Management, Cambridge, Massachusetts. In conjunction with HMI he was faculty in various international faculty development programs including Tokyo and Zagreb University as well as Dubai Healthcare City.

Following his research interest Prof. Christ has founded two biotechnology companies in the area of microcirculatory patient monitoring.

Andrew Ritchie, Director

Mr. Ritchie is CEO of DoMark International Inc, a company engaged in owning, developing and marketing a variety of mobile device accessory products.

Andrew Ritchie has a proven track record of driving sales growth, profitability and maximizing market share in all the organizations where he has held Senior Executive positions.

Mr. Ritchie has worked on three continents as a Senior Executive at companies including the Daily Mail London, New Zealand Herald, The Globe and Mail, The Winnipeg Free Press, Evening Standard London and Jory Capital. He is experienced at driving team performance, large-scale system implementation and achieving world-class standards for his customers.
